We recently held a memorable and inspiring Thanksgiving Ceremony, bringing together members of the Board of Management, Factory Management, religious leaders, farmers, students, and other members of the Momul community. The special occasion provided an opportunity for everyone to come together in gratitude, celebrate important achievements, recognize outstanding milestones, and reflect on the continued growth and progress of the Momul community.
The event was graced by the Board of Management, led by the Chairman, Mr. Isaiah Langat, together with the Factory Management, led by the new Factory Unit Manager, Mr. Franklin Kinoti. Religious leaders also joined the occasion, leading the community in thanksgiving and prayers as attendees celebrated the achievements made by the Factory, its farmers, students, and the wider community.
Celebrating Academic Excellence
The Ceremony was the recognition and awarding of students sponsored by Momul Tea Factory PLC who successfully attained the required grades to qualify for university admission.
Their success was a proud moment for the entire Momul family and demonstrated the positive impact of investing in education and empowering young people. The achievement of these students reflects not only their hard work and determination but also the importance of continued support in helping young people achieve their academic dreams.
This initiative highlights the Factory’s continued commitment to supporting students throughout their educational journey and ensuring that they are equipped and prepared to pursue their studies.
Empowering Farmers Beyond Tea
Ceremony also provided an opportunity to recognize and empower farmers who remain at the heart of Momul Tea Factory PLC.
Several farmers received beehives, avocado seedlings, and other awards, initiatives aimed at encouraging diversification and supporting improved livelihoods. By promoting activities such as beekeeping and avocado farming, the Factory continues to encourage farmers to explore additional income-generating opportunities alongside tea farming.
