Meshllam Mathenge

Meshllam is a seasonal tea production and manufacture guru, with twenty six (26) years experience spanning twelve (12) KTDA managed factories across, East and West of Rift.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AT MOMUL TEA FACTORY LTD COMPANY.

  • Meshllam coordinates, guides and reviews daily, weekly and monthly plant production and maintenance schedules as well as administrative activities.
  • In charge of overall administration of the factory company from extension, field services, to production and marketing tea.
  • Ensuring quality standards and standard operating procedure are adhered to at minimum cost to ensure a high return for the Momul Tea grower.
  • Implements board decision and preparing and implementing the approved budgets.
  • Meshllam is passionate about delivery service and value to small holder tea farmers in Momul and offering quality tea products to Momul customers’ world over.

Frida Auka

Fridah is a skilled agricultural professional with a Bachelor’s of Science in Agricultural Extension Education with an extensive experience of 9 years in agricultural extension services, community empowerment and project management.

Her Roles at Momul Tea Factory PLC Include;

  • Planning and implementing transport system for green leaf collection and delivery to the factory.
  • Designing and implementing sound farmer’s education programs and tours.
  • Ensuring proper establishment and maintenance of the tea nurseries and fields in the catchment area.
  • Ensuring proper maintenance and availability of a healthy transport fleet.
  • Carrying out feasibility studies for establishing new buying centers.
  • Liaising with the production managers in effective management and quality control of green leaf.
  • Attending to grower’s queries as per established policies and procedures.

Patrick kimutai cheruiyot

Patrick Cheruiyot is a Food scientist by profession with 9 years experience in tea processing.

At Momul Tea Factory, he oversees the below roles:

  • Monitoring  production of  quality teas hourly.
  • Planning and projecting the factory’s daily and future needs.
  • Contacting and sourcing the required raw material from the farmers and other suppliers.
  • Staffing–recruit, train new employees and monitor the growth of the ongoing employees.
  • Overseeing that all the processing stages adhere to the Good manufacturing practices, (GMPs) international standards (ISO) and HACCP procedures.
  • Daily/ weekly reporting to the Directors.

Hillary Bii

A well seasoned accountant with a rich experience of over 18 years in accounting and a strong grasp of financial analysis and auditing .

Lonar Jerono

Lorna is an expert in computer systems with experience of over 10 years.

At Momul Tea Factory, she does the below roles:

  1. Working with users to analyze workflow, access, information, and security requirements as well as designing system infrastructure;
  2. Installing and configuring servers and application software on all workstations;
  3. Planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of PC and server hardware, LAN and WAN networks, and operating systems;
  4. Maintaining and monitoring  system performance by troubleshooting system hardware, and networks  and documenting system problems and resolutions for future reference and provide comprehensive reports on system performance;
  5. Backing up and restoring files and critical data by performing/verifying daily backup for recoverability;
